This policy explains what Tone Labs, Inc. (“Tone,” “we”) collects when you visit tone.inc, why, and what choices you have. It covers this website only. It does not cover Tone’s products or the services we provide to customers, which are governed by separate agreements.

What we collect
The site has no accounts, purchases, or forms. Information is collected in four ways.
- Visit logs. When you open the homepage, we record the time, your IP address, browser and device type, the page you came from, and the address you requested. We use IPinfo to derive an approximate location and the network or organization behind your IP address, and we store the result in our own database.
- Analytics and session tools. The site loads third-party scripts that record how visitors move through and interact with pages, provide an on-site chat, and attempt to identify the company behind a visit from network data. These providers set cookies and collect browsing information under their own policies.
- Hosting. The site is served by Vercel, which processes connection data such as IP address and request headers in order to deliver and protect it.
- Email. If you write to us, we receive your message and address in our business email, provided by Google Workspace, and keep the correspondence.

How we use it
To operate and secure the site, to understand who visits and how the site is used, to respond when you contact us, and to meet legal obligations. We do not use this information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Who we share it with
Service providers that process data on our behalf: our hosting, database, and email providers, our IP lookup service, and the analytics and session tools described above. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Cookies and your choices
Cookies on this site come from the analytics and session tools described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and content blockers will stop those scripts from loading. The site does not respond to Do Not Track signals.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you, to object to or restrict its use, and to receive a copy of it. California residents may request details of any disclosure of personal information for third parties’ direct marketing purposes under Civil Code section 1798.83; we do not make such disclosures. Retention and security
Visit logs are kept while they are useful for the purposes above. We do not currently apply a fixed retention period; you can ask us to delete records associated with you. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold, and no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Other things to know
Our servers and providers are in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States. The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Links to other websites are subject to those sites’ own policies. We may update this policy; the date at the top reflects the latest revision.
